Honouring the spirit of Japanese gift-giving tradition while embracing a contemporary sensibility, our wrapping is designed to harmonise with any occasion: quiet, refined, and gently attentive to the recipient.
Unless otherwise specified, orders are wrapped with a red-and-white katawa-musubi ribbon — a style suited to a wide range of celebrations, gestures of gratitude, and greetings.
It is equally appropriate for casual gifts and more formal occasions.
≪About the Katawa-musubi (片輪結び) ribbon≫
Traditionally used for wrapping cylindrical objects, this knot's symmetrical, skyward form evokes strength, forward momentum, and good fortune — and is a much-loved style.
While the katawa-musubi has long been used as a formal tie, its ease of unfastening and understated simplicity mean that some may consider it semi-formal. Please choose according to the occasion.

For what occasions is a gift card recommended?
Gift cards can be used for a variety of gifting occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. They are a thoughtful way to show your appreciation and make a wonderful gift for anyone, as the recipient can choose exactly what they like.
How can I check the balance on a gift card, and what should I do if it is lost?
You can check your gift card balance in the following ways: enter the code at checkout to see the remaining balance automatically, or use the link provided in the gift card email. If you lose your gift card, please first check the email address used at the time of purchase. If you still cannot find it, please contact us here.
How do I purchase a gift card, and how will it be delivered?
Gift cards can be purchased through our online store in the same way as any other product.
If you enter the recipient's email address at checkout, the gift card will be sent to them automatically.
You may also have the gift card sent to your own email address and forward it to the recipient at a later time.
Are there any expiration dates or usage restrictions for gift cards?
Gift cards are valid for three months. Please note the following: gift cards are valid for online store purchases only and cannot be used in physical stores; they cannot be combined with other discount codes or promotions; and they are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
How can I use a gift card?
Gift cards can be used for purchases in our online store. When purchasing, you can enter the recipient’s email address and the gift card will be sent directly to them. The email includes the gift card code, the remaining balance, and the message entered by the sender. The balance can be used partially and any remaining amount can be applied to future purchases.
What should I do if I receive a defective item?

About Delivery Dates
Orders are shipped as soon as they are ready. Please allow approximately 5-10 days from order placement to dispatch.
Delivery date requests are accepted for dates 7 days or more after the order date. If you need your order sooner, please contact us via the inquiry form before placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
If no delivery date is specified, your order will be delivered within the delivery window stated on the product page.
Please note that delivery may be delayed due to weather or traffic conditions.
During peak shipping periods such as mid-year and year-end gift seasons, Obon, and the New Year holidays, it may not be possible to specify a delivery date and time.
If you are unavailable at the requested delivery time and we are unable to contact you, or if the storage period expires, the package will be returned to our store. Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to offer refunds or reshipment in such cases.

- We take every care in the production of our products. However, if you receive an item with a defect, please contact us as soon as possible and we will arrange an exchange.
- As our products are perishable food items, we are unable to accept requests made more than one week after delivery. We appreciate your understanding.
