Lemon Coin Challenge Information
A Little Moment of Play — The Lemon Coin Challenge
Would you like to try a small, uniquely Japanese experience at C’est du nanan TOKYO?
In our store, guests are invited to enjoy our Lemon Coin Challenge—a quiet little game that’s simple, satisfying, and surprisingly addictive.
How It Works
The rules are beautifully simple:
Gently place a coin on a fresh lemon.
It looks easy at first… but it quickly becomes a calm test of focus and control.
If your coin stays on the lemon, it might just be a sign your day is going to be a good one.
Give it a try as a fun memory of your visit.

Where Your Kindness Goes
Even if your coin falls, don’t worry.
All coins used in the challenge are donated in full to the Christel Vie Ensemble Foundation, a Japanese foundation working under the mission “Living Together.”
They support initiatives such as biodiversity conservation and animal welfare (including efforts toward zero euthanasia of dogs and cats).
A joyful moment of choosing sweets can become a small, gentle force that helps protect life on our shared planet.
At C’est du nanan, we hope to create this circle of kindness together with our customers.
In between shopping—with family or friends—we warmly invite you to take on the challenge.
We can’t wait to cheer you on.
