At C'est du nanan, we handcraft gluten-free sweets using rice flour. We would like to tell you why we are so particular about using rice flour.

The first reason is that they are delicious. Nanan's pastry chefs are able to bring out the best in the unique flavor of rice flour, creating Japanese sweets that are completely different from any gluten-free rice flour sweets you've ever tried.
These sweets are made with great care to capture the delicate texture and flavor unique to rice flour, and have a perfect taste that cannot be replaced with wheat flour.
Rice flour is also good at bringing out the best in other ingredients. You can enjoy the delicate flavor of Japanese food that can be expressed by paying attention to each and every ingredient, and the new sensation of combining the charms of both Japanese and Western cultures.

The second reason is that using and eating Japanese rice will be the "key" that will support Japan in the future. As long as it tastes good, I think choosing domestically and locally produced food is a worthwhile choice. These days, it feels like words like "sustainable" and "SDGs" are only used because they sound good. At Nanan, we think about social issues from the perspective of children who will live in the future, and we tackle them one by one. All gluten free
All of our sweets are made in a workshop that only uses rice flour and does not contain any wheat flour or wheat gluten, so that people with gluten allergies can enjoy them safely.
We also pay particular attention to the ingredients we use to ensure that our products are both delicious and safe, making them a perfect gift for loved ones.

About food additives

We don't think that additives are necessarily bad when it comes to baking, but we aim to make sweets that make the most of the deliciousness of natural ingredients.

For this reason, we do not use additives such as synthetic flavors, preservatives, coloring agents, or quality enhancers, or highly processed ingredients, and instead value the original flavor of the ingredients.

The flavors, aromas and colors of C'est du nanan sweets are all created from carefully selected natural ingredients.
By carefully selecting each ingredient and taking great care in cooking them, we are able to bring out the rich, deep flavors of each ingredient blending together.

To make fully ripe yuzu peel, harvest the yuzu when it has ripened and is beginning to release a sweet aroma. Peel the peel while it is still fresh to preserve the aroma, then cook it slowly in a large pot over as low a heat as possible.

The soybean flour used in our dacquoise is made from yellow soybeans grown without the use of pesticides, which are roasted by hand by the farmers themselves and then ground into flour which is then sent directly to us.
The filling for our Dorayaki is made using a unique method that pursues the natural aroma of red beans and makes the most of their rich aroma.

The sweet and beautiful fragrance you feel the moment you open the bag is a profound fragrance that cannot be expressed with perfume alone, and is born from the overlapping of hundreds of aromatic compounds contained in each ingredient.

Based on our belief that "delicious sweets are made from good ingredients," we carefully select our ingredients, striving to create simple yet profound flavors that are unique to each ingredient.

Fermented rice and butter sandwich
This is a dish that is particular about the texture of rice flour sables that melt in your mouth as they mix with the butter cream. In the pure pursuit of deliciousness, we arrived at the texture of crumbly sables and smooth butter cream with a rich milky taste. Enjoy five types of butter sandwiches to suit your taste and mood of the day.
Rice Dorayaki
The dough, made from the finest domestic rice flour and eggs from free-range chickens, has a chewy and moist texture that was finally perfected by the pastry chefs of C'est du Nanant after several years of trial and error. Both "Organic Azuki Beans" and "Hojun Sake" are proud products that pursue the maximum flavor of the carefully selected ingredients.
Rice Dacquoise
C'est du Nanant's dacquoise boasts a "crispy, moist, and fluffy" texture. We use only the finest domestic rice flour, free-range eggs, mineral-rich cane sugar, and traditionally fermented butter to create a rich, flavorful dacquoise. We offer three completely additive-free flavors: "Terraced Yuzu," "Organic Matcha," and "Phantom Kinako."
Rice Madeleine Yuzu Chocolate
Unlike typical fluffy dough, C'est du Nanant's Madeleines have a rich texture similar to that of a chocolate gateau. They are made using the finest chocolate with a gorgeous flavor, and are moist and smooth, melting in your mouth. The chocolate and yuzu flavors make this a fragrant item.
Rice Quatre-quarts (pound cake)
Made with premium rice flour, cane sugar, cultured butter, free-range eggs, and almond powder for a deep flavor. Choose from the elegantly sweet "Natural," "Kurodamaru" with 5.7g of protein per serving, and "Organic Ginger" with plenty of roughly chopped organic ginger.
Rice Sable
C'est du Nanant's sables have a crispy texture and crumble in your mouth. There are three types in the lineup: "Natural," "Macarraivo Chocolat," and "Organic Vegetables and Almond." Made with only five carefully selected ingredients, including the highest quality domestic rice flour, "Natural" is a sweet that allows you to enjoy the smooth melting texture and gentle sweetness of rice flour in the simplest way.
