Hello, my name is Emi Tokinaga, and I am the representative of C'est du nanan.
C'est du nanan began as a small confectionery shop started by my mother, and at its heart lies a deep passion for kindness.

When you receive one of our lovingly handcrafted treats, created by Nanan’s pastry chefs, we believe you’ll taste not only the flavor but also the care and thoughtfulness baked into every bite.

The Birth of Gluten-Free Rice Flour Sweets

In 2019, I had the honor of meeting an incredible rice flour pastry chef. I fell in love with the exceptional flavors of rice flour sweets, which inspired me to open a gluten-free rice flour confectionery shop.

Deliciousness is, of course, the foundation of everything we do. But beyond that, I carefully choose ingredients that prioritize health, sustainability, and fairness. Whether it's organic produce, fair trade goods, or materials that support animal welfare, every choice reflects our values.

Another essential factor is the connection to the producers—their stories, their dedication, and their respect for the land. If I can resonate with and admire their passion, that becomes part of the sweetness we share with you.

The truth is, no matter how much effort we pour into our work, what we at Nanan can achieve is only a small drop in the ocean.
But even so, I believe it holds meaning.

Because sometimes, even the smallest action can turn zero into one.

C'est du nanan might not change the world.
But perhaps, the philosophy behind what we do—the way we think and act—might inspire change.
