What is Terraced Yuzu?
Used in our sweets "Tanada Yuzu" is It is characterized by its large size and rich fragrance. They are grown without the use of pesticides or fertilizers in the midst of a natural environment with extreme temperature differences. In December, yuzu are picked in a mountain village with a cool river running through it, and are made into jam and yuzu peel in Nanan's workshop.
The black spots on the surface of yuzu are an antibacterial substance called "salvestrol" that is produced by the yuzu itself. It is also proof that the fruit was grown without the use of pesticides, and is attracting attention as a nutrient with natural anti-cancer properties.
