Nanan's Specialty Coffee

We mainly deal in high-quality micro-lot coffee beans that are produced in small quantities and with environmentally friendly methods.

Coffee trees grow in the great outdoors, protected by shade trees.
Tiny coffee seeds planted in nutrient-rich soil grow without relying on pesticides or chemical fertilizers, protected by shade trees in the great outdoors, over the course of three years, and eventually bloom into delicate white flowers with a jasmine-like scent.
After that, it produces green fruits that take more than six months to ripen into sweet coffee cherries.

Cherry harvesting is an important event for farmers, involving the entire family.
The most important thing is to collect only the fully ripe cherries, but as they do not ripen all at once, only the fully ripe cherries are picked by hand, one by one, to avoid damaging the unripe ones.

The highest quality coffee beans from across the ocean.

On large-scale farms in flat areas, the most common method is to use machines to shake the trees and remove the fruit. However, this method ends up mixing in unripe or damaged cherries, and it is not possible for small-scale farms or in mountainous areas to use machines.

It takes time and effort, but to produce high-quality, delicious coffee, the passion and careful handiwork of the people who grow it is essential.
The beans are then refined through several processes, including washing and fermentation, and only the specialty coffee beans selected from these are sent off to Japan.
Nanan has always been mindful of the earth, health, and producers when selecting ingredients.

The coffee beans that come to us are the highest quality, produced by wonderful producers in countries such as Bolivia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Ethiopia.

Roasting is the final step in creating delicious coffee.

Roasting is the final step in making the carefully produced, top-quality coffee beans delicious.

The finest roasted coffee beans begin to slowly mature right after they are roasted. The freshly roasted beans have a light taste, but as they age, they change in a complex and profound way, along with the sound of time passing.
"Coffee is all about freshness," so there's no need to rush. Nanan coffee is delicious today and a month from now. Enjoy the unique flavors you encounter in the infinite gradations of color created by the type of coffee beans, temperature, humidity, and other extremely subtle differences in various conditions.

For an even more delicious and fulfilling experience.

You can enjoy its deliciousness for a long time by storing it in a cool place such as the refrigerator. (The recommended shelf life is about one month at room temperature and about three months if refrigerated.)

It takes more than three years from planting a single coffee seed until it starts to bear fruit.
A single coffee tree can produce about 3kg of coffee cherries in one season.
If you convert that into coffee beans, it comes to 400g, or just enough for 25 to 30 cups.

A delicious cup of coffee is the result of many years and the efforts of many people.

Sending my thoughts across the sea,
We hope you enjoy the aromas and flavors of each region.
