Message from the CEO
I want to create a sweet and gentle world through sweets.
Hello. I am Emi Tokinaga, the representative of C'est du nanan.
C'est du nanan is a small confectionery shop started by my mother. We are passionate about "kindness".
We know that when you receive your treats, lovingly handcrafted by Nanan's pastry chefs, you will taste that thought.
Then in 2019, I met an amazing rice flour pastry chef. I fell in love with the delicious rice flour sweets and opened a gluten-free rice flour confectionery shop.
The most important thing is that the food is delicious, and I select ingredients and materials that are healthy, environmentally friendly (e.g. organic), fair trade, and animal welfare friendly. Another criterion is whether I can sympathize with and respect the feelings of the producers.
The truth is, no matter how hard we try, there is only so much we at Nanan can do.
Still, it surely has meaning.
Just a small action can turn a zero into a one.
Nanan may not change the world, but
This way of thinking could change the world.
By turning zero into one,
It may change the world,
I think so.
We love Japanese culture, we love Japanese produce, and we're grateful to all of you who support our journey.
